SUSPENSION DESIGN - data entering

The software presents basically three data entry areas, depending on the calculation that you want to perform.
The first concerns the characteristics of the motorbike and of the rider

In the first place should be entered the center of gravity position of the motorcycle without the rider, the wheelbase of the motorcycle and its weight.

In addition to this, it is possible to enter the position of the tank and the quantity of gasoline inserted, the software automatically calculates the new center of gravity.

The center of gravity calculation is easily detectable by having two scales.
To define the center of gravity of the motorbike with the rider on board, the software presents a special algorithm that allows you to calculate the center of gravity of the rider based on its weight and height and the position on the motorbike. Therefore, by inserting the position of footpegs, saddle, and handlebars, you will have the overall center of gravity. This function is very important because allows you to see how the position affects the motorbike balance and you can then work on these parameters to change the balance of the motorbike. Same thing when you want evaluate the balance of two riders with differents bodies.
