Together with the characteristics of the engine you must enter those of
the transmission and of the vehicle, thereby the software Crankshaft Balance
Design will calculate the performance of the vehicle and will give you the correct information on how the choices of balance and inertia influence the overall performance, allowing you to find fastly the optimal solution.

The data that you must enter are very simple, in fact they are the
vehicle mass and the tyre radius, moreover you must enter the gears teeth number of the primary transmission,
of the gearbox and of the final transmission. The software Crankshaft
Balance Design can work also for engine with direct drive
(without gearbox), in this case you must enter only the final ratio.
In addition to these data is possible enter, if you know it, the values of inertia that have the transmission shafts and
eventuals auxiliaries applied to the crankshaft (ignition,
flywheel, etc.). Anyway the software will calculate
automatically the values of inertia of the transmission shafts
according to the gears entered, so the performance calculation
will always be realistic and effective.
At the end you must enter the shifter speed and the shifter time, in this way it will be possible to take into account the driving style and guide the choices also in according with this aspect
