flowbench and don't process the results obtained in a timely manner threatens to ruin your

Often the software related to the flow bench does not make
fully developed and refined the data collected, which limits the interpretation of results
and information that can be drawn to proceed with the development of the component in a
better way. The needs shown by several of our customers have encouraged us to create a
series of software dedicated to the analysis and interpretation of
the statements from the flow bench. The classic simple comparison of volumetric
flow rates (cfm, m3/s, etc.) measured from the flowbench, regardless of how it has
performed the test, the test conditions, areas of the elements, etc.. can often lead to
erroneous considerations sometimes frustrating months of work with related work thrown to
the wind.
With software FLOW ANALYSIS can be rather clear
results, being able to understand clearly whether the direction taken is
the right to development, as margins improved to the benefit of time and
costs.
Each element has specific features flushed NT-Project has therefore decided to create
separating software for the main elements that are flushed to the flowbench. |

Together with the test results should be included the
geometric data of the item that you are flushing so the software calculate the coefficient
of discharge to show the actual efficiency of the component and this
is crucial to make realistic comparisons between different flow tests. In
addition to this aspect the software FLOW ANALYSIS allow to calculate the
discharge coefficient taking into account how the test is really made, indeed the
characteristics of the flowbench and the test mode can affect the results, so it would be
appropriate to the classical definition of a more refined
calculation of the coefficient of discharge.
Finally, the FLOW ANALYSIS software calculates the thermo-fluid dynamic
conditions in the minimum section of element fluxed, it is essential to understand the characteristics of the flow and if the flow test can be a real
indication of what will be in operation or if you need to change the test conditions. |
SPECIFIC
for each element flows were introduced special features that add information
to flow test for a better development of the component. |
The software have then special features targeted to the
specific characteristics of the element fluxed. In the analysis of flow test about head
of four stroke engine FOUR STROKE FLOW ANALYSIS has been included the
ability to see under what conditions is the intake stroke as a function of the engine
characteristics (stroke, bore), of the head (number and geometry of valves), of the valve
train (open and close the valve, maximum lift) and of the rpm of interest. With this
feature, the software determine the difference in pressure that the engine actually
creates to the different lift at the rpm considered, then you can
adjust the flow bench in the real conditions and to establish a flow as similar as
possible to what will happen later in the engine operation .
In the analysis of flow test about cylinder of two stroke engine TWO STROKE FLOW
ANALYSIS has been included in calculating the timing area of ports fluxed, it
allows to have a clear picture of the instantaneous area in the
engine cycle, and then you can make more comprehensive assessments on engine
timing.
In the analysis of floe test about reed valve REED VALVE FLOW ANALYSIS
was included simulation of the opening of the reed petals under
varying conditions of pressure and the characteristics of the petals themselves. In
this way, in addition to calculate the effective area of flow in the different test
conditions, you can see the movement of the petal to the benefit of the choices to be made
for this key element to optimize the operation of the engine. |

Requirements of
Flowbench |
it is sufficient that the floebench displays the flow
measured and the pressure difference of the test. The software allows you to enter data in
all the units of measurement, so data can be entered directly without having to do
conversions or calculations. |
