How it works?

The diaphragm carburetor has two circuit to provide the fuel. These are two elementar circuits commanded from the depression that is created in the venturi of the carburetor, and where there is the throttle, and regulated from the opening of low and high screw.

Since that these circuits are elementars, the quantity of fuel provided is linked exclusively at the phisical conditions that are created, and this doesn't allow to obtain the optimal air/fuel ratio in all the operation conditions, and therefore will be necessary to search a compromise.

The only elements that allow to modify this compromise, are the spring of contrast to the diaphragm, and the diameter of the bush of the needle valve.

In this version Experience we've concentrated our work on this aspect, to give the possibility to mechanics and tuners to study new setting, using different springs, or modifying the needle seat diameter, and being able to see how changes the carburation in the different operation zone in function of the spring used.

This will allow to find the springs most adapted to optimize the carburation in the operation areas that time by time are most important in function of the track features, of the driving style, etc.

Since that in these carburetors are used spring very little, the measure of their stiffness isn't easy, for this reason in the software the spring stiffness is calculated automatically simply entering the free length of the spring, the diameter of the needle seat, and the pop-off opening pressure that you can measure with the specific gauge.

Results

	AUTOMATIC CALCULATION CARBURETOR SETTING VARYING THE WEATHER CONDITIONS This aspect is fundmental because the carburetor isn't able to adapt itself at the different weather conditions, and therefore is necessary to intervene manually on the setting. You must simply enter the new values of pressure, temperature, and humidity, and the software will give you the new setting that you must use for the low screw, and the high screw, to obtain the best carburation.
	AUTOMATIC CALCULATION CARBURETOR SETTING VARYING OPERATION ENGINE SPEEDS and VARYING OIL MIXTURE PERCENTAGE How we've written above the carburetor doesn't allow to obtain a perfect carburation in all the operation conditions, for this reason, to optimize the carburation in the operation area that you've on the track can make the difference to have the best performance. Entering the engine speeds that you've during the lap, the software automatically we'll refine the carburetor setting to obtain the best comprimise in this zone. Moreover the software allows to optimize the setting also if you change the oil percentage that you use with the gasoline.
	INDIVIDUATION NEW CARBURETOR SETTING TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE VARYING THE TRACKS or THE DRIVER DRIVING STYLE This is a function really important of the software, because allows to choose the inlet tension springs more adapted to improve the carburation in specific operation areas. In fact as we've shown in the description of the diaphragm carburetor features is possible only to find an optimal comprimise, this means that you'll have operation areas penalized compared to others. Thanks to the software, you can work on the springs, and eventually on the needle seat diameter, to modify this comprimise, and to favor the carburation in an area than another, and this is fundmental to obtain the best performance track by track, or driver by driver.

In general together with the automatic calculation of the carburetor setting, the software shows the graphs of the carburation, both in function of the throttle opening [% throttle], both in function of the engine speed [rpm]

The carburation to have an optimal combustion should create an Air/Fuel ratio near to 13.2, therefore thanks to the software is possible to see, in function of the carburetor setting and of the entered conditions, the areas where the carburation we'll be lean, and where we'll be rich. Then it will be easy optimize the carburetor setting to obtain the best performance.

In addition to the graphs with the carburation, the software provides also indications on the efficiency level, both at partial load, both at full load. Moreover in function of the air humidity, and of the oil percentage in the mixture, show the residual quantity that will be in the combustion chamber, slowing down the combustion.

The software can be used on any computer with Windows operating system. It 'was designed to be used on screens with minimum resolution 800 x 600 pixels, so it can be easily used even on small notebook or netbook.

The license to use the software allows 2 installations, furthermore in case of computer failure it's possible a re-installation within 24 months.
